Do you people get expected marks in the essay paper or luck matters more than your performance in this paper?

In my opinion luck and performance both are important luck favours the well prepared..i got 30 marks in essay 2013.

Luck does really matter, but the point is directing your luck in a way that catches the examiner and then the head examiner. Its more like out of a hundred, 51 to performance and 49 to luck. Consider this calculation only for Essay thing.

True that I was just trying to know that who are those people who get even less than 20 may be they have not even performed to the minimum level of good...as it seems from above comments

CSS has 2 discrete possibilities, either more than 40 marks or a failure.
