When life throws you lemons, make lemonade
Dear Seniors,
In my opinion, lemons are not adversities but opportunities provided by life. So gist of the topic is that one should make the best of the opportunities provided by life. However, considering lemons as adversities and bring the best out of the adversities also seems correct. Are lemons adversities or opportunities? Is this the matter of individual's interpretation? |

In my view, when "throws" its might be opportunities but most suited is adversities as opportunities are given not thrown
when life gives you lemons , make lemonade. corrections are welcomed |

I think, the word "throw" can be used equally with opportunities and adversities.

I can understand that lemons are adversities.
But is there anything wrong in interpreting lemons as opportunities? After all, lemons are not adversity. They are the prerequisite for making lemonade. Last edited by Codename Hijazi; Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 08:20 AM. Reason: Merged |

At first I also thought that it may be opportunities but word "throw" indicates toward adversities. Although second aspect of the topic "make lemonade" perhaps suggests towards something that is often missed & it makes the likelihood to 'Opportunities.

In my opinion both the approaches are correct. As far as one can prove and elaborate his stance. What you people say?

Yes obviously, such topics do not have any particular target. Even we can use both these meanings in one essay I think so.

Thesis 1: Man should make the best out of the opportunities which are provided to him by life.
Thesis 2: Man should turn the adversities into the success and prosperity. To me, both seems correct. |

No Thesis 2 should be : Man should learn from those adversities. I think.
