I AM A NEW MEMBER HERE AT THE FORUM.I HAVE GRADUATED FROM PUNJAB UNIVERSITY WITH 563 MARKS IN 2014.I HAVE ALSO PASSED MY MASTER EXAMM IN ENGLISH LITERATURE PART 1 AND WAITING FOR THE RESULT OF PART 2. I am going to start preparation for CSS, It is very late but due to some circumstances I was unable to start early. I have a tight budget I want seniors recommendation for Books, please suggest from the Syllabus recommended books section. I can at maximum buy 2 books per subject please suggest, for both Compulsory and Optional.
MY OPTIONAL SUBJECTS ARE:
POLITICAL SCIENCE:200 MARKS
ISLAMIC HISTORY AND CULTURE:200
ENGLISH LITERATURE:200
PLEASE GRANT ME WITH YOUR KIND SUGGESTION

Hello shapo, I am sorry to tell you this but English Literature and Islamic History are now of 100 marks each instead of the previous 200 marks. Political science is still of 200 marks. There have been people who have gotten good merit positions despite having financial constraints. Case in point is our respected forum member and CSS 2014 all Pakistan merit number 13 Bilal Hassan.
