Adil
Your technical definition of Gender is right. Its true that there is difference between gender and sex.I had opted a general approach. Thanx for pointing my mistake.

Equality in terms of treatment and provision of opportunity is quite possible and realistic, it just needs a bit of civilization to be nice towards our counterparts. We just need to unshackle our minds........

This type of essay is called as persuasive essay. There is no need to write causes, effects and remedies. One should take a stance in thesis statement that whether Gender equality is myth or not. In body of the essay there should be supporting arguments to prove thesis statement. At the end comes conclusion of the essay.

Physical inequality:
Man is physically stronger than woman (man can do more hard work as comapred to woman)
In Sports man and woman teams are separate due to physical inequality
Man is assigned the task of outdoor activity in society while woman stays at home to do chores due to this physical inequality

Biological inequalty
woman can give birth to a child due to her natural biological structure
woman can feed her new born child only due to her biological structure

Psychological ienquality:
woman is emotionally attached to her children as she given them birth and due to her mother instinct man is not as emotional as woman
woman is feeling type man is thinking type (Jung's Conclusion)

Social inequality:
Woman being a mother, wife and daughter is dependent on man, on other hand man is not dependent
Man is assigned the task of outdoor activity in society while woman stays at home to do chores.

Economic Inequality:
Man being the outdoor worker is the main contributor of faimily economy, woman's household work do not contribute to economy
Man has the main responsibilty to run the financial faimly matters i.e education of children, Utility Bills, and other expenses.

Religious Inequality:
In Islam man is dominant than woman i.e his authority over woman ( he can beat his wife, Surah Nisa)
Woman's evidence is half as compared to man
Woman has one eighth property right as compared to man's

In this way you can make more outlines to prove that man and woman can not be equal and Gender Equality is a myth.
Sir, in the end you have made illogical arguments based on no truth. In Islam men and women are equal. ( 49:13 and countless other references). As concerns testimony, it is not in all cases that her testimony is considered half as compared to male counterparts, only in financial issues, and there is reasoning behind that. Regarding property rights, since she is the responsibility of her husband, it is thus she has to be given half as much as any of her brother gets. Don't malign any religion without clearly understanding it...

Yes. And he used that reference of surah Nisa. That's so wrong. That's not called beating. That's a simple twitch. Like a simple pat on woman. That's not beating. This guy has made some false claims in his essay outlines , seems like they are enough to get him a failure because we can't cross the line in our essay. We have to stay balanced in our view.

And 1/8th for woman. Well that's for widow. And that's property matters bro. And any religion don't give even 1/8th. And that 1/8th is in a case when man don't write down his will before his death.
