Gender Equality is a Myth (Means man and woman are not equal)

Physical inequality:
Man is physically stronger than woman (man can do more hard work as comapred to woman)
In Sports man and woman teams are separate due to physical inequality
Man is assigned the task of outdoor activity in society while woman stays at home to do chores due to this physical inequality

Biological inequalty
woman can give birth to a child due to her natural biological structure
woman can feed her new born child only due to her biological structure

Psychological ienquality:
woman is emotionally attached to her children as she given them birth and due to her mother instinct man is not as emotional as woman
woman is feeling type man is thinking type (Jung's Conclusion)

Social inequality:
Woman being a mother, wife and daughter is dependent on man, on other hand man is not dependent
Man is assigned the task of outdoor activity in society while woman stays at home to do chores.

Economic Inequality:
Man being the outdoor worker is the main contributor of faimily economy, woman's household work do not contribute to economy
Man has the main responsibilty to run the financial faimly matters i.e education of children, Utility Bills, and other expenses.

Religious Inequality:
In Islam man is dominant than woman i.e his authority over woman ( he can beat his wife, Surah Nisa)
Woman's evidence is half as compared to man
Woman has one eighth property right as compared to man's

In this way you can make more outlines to prove that man and woman can not be equal and Gender Equality is a myth.

Nasir Shah's outline does not address the inherent question of main topic
Inherent question is : How the "Concept" of Gender Equality is false/myth
What Question is addressed by Shah's outline is : What are the causes of gender discrimination in Pakistan"
Shah has used "series structure of argument" which is based on cause-impact-remedy structure in which every sub-claim is dependent on other sub claims. remedy depends on impact, impact depends on causes. I have used "convergent structure of argument" in which every sub claim contributes to the main Claim or Conflict. Both methods are widely used to furnish a strong arguments but it depends on the main claim that which method should be used.
Secondly it is not a good practice to satisfy oneself by writing an outline. Essay as a whole has so many dynamics that outline can never cover.

Yes I totally agree with you that his outline sounds like that. He has written most of his essays by same method but in detailed essay he has given some points which should be a part of this essay. Also he had written some more points which I have omitted because he went too far in them and examiner may not like them as they were pretty touchy for Pakistani males and against religion. I personally think that this topic should not be written in cause-effect-remedy structure but one can construct his outline by taking ideas from both outlines.
He had asked for outline and I have provided him with one. As per my opinion one should not cram outlines rather he should construct his outline by taking relevant points from all the information available and try to write full essay by covering maximum aspects. By forgetting his cause-effect-remedy structure still one can take relevant points from his essay and can write according to demand of essay. I am practicing 1 essay each week by selecting topic either from past papers or from current affairs topic.
And yes I strongly agree that everything cannot be covered in outline and essay has many dynamics.

Can you please refer any source or book which can help me decide that which kind of structure should be used in particular essay?

Your approach and outline is more relevant but one can take points from Shah's outline and can put them under your main points to construct a pretty well outline.

And yes as A Zeee has requested can you share any source or can guide us all about how to decide which structure is best for which essay?

Argumentation is a very diverse topic to discuss, i hope i could get time to write about art of argumentation because it is the main pillar of discourse and very important for essay writing, until i write on different aspects of argumentation, you can sent your essays for assessment on my email.

There are mainly three types of structures of arguments
1) Series structure of Argument
2) Divergent structure of Argument
3) Parallel Structure of Argument

Series Structure of Argument is the method of argument in which different sub-claims are interdependent. They can be interdependent in many ways cause-effect-remedy is one of these ways. Suppose We say in first paragraph that poverty is caused by poor economic conditions, in second paragraph we say that this poor economy is the result of bad governance and in third paragraph we say that bad governance is due to corruption . These arguments contributes to the main claim as set of arguments, dependent on each other. Now from this causation arises another set of arguments based on effects, in same manner from the set of arguments of repercussions arise an other set of arguments based on suggestions/remedies
Normally this method of argumentation is used in descriptive essays where some sort of problem is involved such as Energy Crisis in Pakistan, Poverty in Third World etc.

In Divergent Structure of argument sub claims apparently are independent of each other as i have mentioned above. Mostly this type of structure is used in argumentative essays.

Third method is Parallel Structure of Argument which is more complex and include both of the previous methods of arguments . In this method we have a set of arguments in which sub claims of a set of arguments are interdependent and other set of arguments is independent of previous set of arguments

social aspects of ABC
aspect 1
aspect 2(dependent on aspect 1)
aspect 3(dependent on aspect 2)
aspect 4(dependent on aspect 3)

Political aspects of ABC
aspect 1
aspect 2(dependent on aspect 1)
aspect 3(dependent on aspect 2)
aspect 4(dependent on aspect 3)

Hope i could draw diagram to elaborate these methods more easily.
Secondly none of these method is strictly pure. Series structure can contain the elements of divergent structure and vice versa. Parallel Structure contains both of these structure.

It is a myth, but your thesis statement says it is unlike? One paragraph can be used for your own analysis, but your whole essay lies on one sided wheightage. Sir, please elaborate whether it would be defensive attempt to justify essay "it is not/a myth! In my point of view, if topic statement says that a well-read woman is dangerous creature, then I will, therefore, attempt it as same that of topic statement what that says. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to you to know your stance on topic and thesis statement.

trotsky59 Tuesday, June 20, 2017 09:01 PM

I have defended the main claim that the concept of equality of man and woman is false due to several factors. i was required to give outline for this topic so i have given few of the outlines in defense of the main claim. One can also attack the main claim he can say the the concept of gender equality is not a myth but a reality. he can give examples from religion, from law, from day to day life, from nature etc. any of the data or information can be used in fovour or against the topic. it all depends on your perspective. When you attack a claim your perspective is different but when you defend a claim your, perspective is changed. Now here a question arises that which claim should be attacked and which to defend. It all depends on an aspirant that what sort of evidences are available to him to construct his case. For it is important to support you statement in essay through strong arguments, mere opinion would not give you marks.

@Trotsky: Well, gentleman! I think your thesis is not that much relevant to the topic "Gender Equality is a Myth". Before making out one's case, I think, one should comprehend the topic first. a. Sex is Biology. b. Geneder is Sociology. In fact, they're asking about 'Gender' which is a social phenomenon: gender is the social construction of an individual and a role assigned to a gender in one society can vary in another. The outline you've drawn is purely based on physio-biological differences which is beside the point. That would have been relevant if the topic would have been "Sexual Equality is a Myth"? Now You see, they're asking you about your take on a purely sociological/cultural phenomenon while you're approaching it from a purely biological standpoint! Moreover, in modern times, equality means 'equality of treatment and opportunity' and not physical/biological activity. Correct me if............. Kind regards
