How did you complete such a long essay,let alone other factors like maintaining precision and accuracy?

Want to ask same question. Please can you write its introduction and conclusion? Attempting such a long essay for me seems to be impossible. I will be more than thankful if you could elaborate Mam Anum Zahra.

I wrote 20 above pages. I was a beginner who appeared in the examination without any preparation. I had no guidance about writing an essay so, It wrote it like this. My introductory paragraph was 1.5 page long and concluding paragraph was less than half page. My paragraphs were short as I did not have much data to support my statements. If I am not mistaken, I wrote only 4-5 sentences per paragraph. I know it is too long but I did managed to finish it. The only problem was that I finished writing when examiner started collecting sheets. My essay had a lot of spelling mistakes. I did not get the time to read paper and correct my mistakes. I actually knew few of my mistakes which I noticed during writing. I decided to correct them after writing but was unable to do so. There were no grammatical mistakes. My first reaction after coming out of hall was that I called my father and asked him to take me back home because I was sure about my failure. Passing exam with 57 marks was a great shock for me. My writing is really good. It had played big role in fetching me these marks. I have only shared this because someone requested me to do so. I do not recommend such long outline. However, it is beneficial for others in a sense that one can extract the most relevant points from it according to his or her thinking.

Other things I have explained above. About conclusion and introduction, it is impossible for me to write them now. I wrote that essay more than a year ago and that too in examination hall. Also, I wrote this essay in the examination hall without any prior preparation or knowledge. This was the only essay on which it was possible for me to write. I started writing paragraphs by leaving 5-6 pages blank. I wrote introduction and outline at the end. All paragraphs were written in a simplest possible language. Just 4 to 5 sentences. Each paragraph had a introductory sentence and a concluding sentence. Body had 2-3 supporting sentences. Introduction was like executive summary that usually business students write in their projects and reports. I basically wrote summary of my entire essay in it. In conclusion I wrote that why it is absolutely necessary to get rid of colonial mentality. I also elaborated that what further consequences it can bring if we do not get rid of it.

Good to know about your essay. What was your education background? I am a graduate also but when I try to write something related to essay I am end up only writing some sentences. Would you share your preparation strategy?

I am from Commerce background. I appeared without preparation. I was able to write that much because I love to read and write. There are only certain topics on which I can fluently write. This was about Pakistan. I tried to discuss it by connecting the both times. Two topics helped me a lot. One was Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and second was corruption. They were freshly prepared. Rest everything was observation or experience. Due to background, retrieving financial, economic, administrative and political causes from my memory was not that difficult. On some topics, I cannot write a single page. This was a topic of interest.

At start, everyone faces this problem. Choose topic from past papers. Gather data. Prepare brief outline of about 1.5-2.5 pages. Then try to write essay. After 5-10 essays, your essay writing skill will improve. Also, this length is too much. 14-16 pages for essay including outline is enough.

Is this true that if the outline isn’t well written then the essay is considered fail?
I wrote a really good essay and left outline for the end but unfortunately couldn’t manage time and had to write outline in haste. Consequently, couldn’t mention arguments properly, since then essay paper has become like a nightmare for me. Is there any hope for me? The rest of my exam went pretty good so what should I expect?
