TERRORISM..

introduction;
Do define the term terrorism
do give some background
do define the scope of your essay (how much broader is this term, and what perspective you'll discuss
also separate terrorism, jehad, rebellion and struggles for independence
like kasmir, palestine, Alfa, nixalists, movements for separation from some country are not usually included in today's term of terrorism

a)- factors lead to the strenthening of terrorism

-> to defame ideology of islam
-> to project islamic countries as war-torn countries
-> american imperialism and western universalisation
-> conflicts between capitalist and communist states (I guess its more among capitalistic and Muslim states (no matter capitalistic or communistic)So it would be better to change as conflicts among Western and Muslims countries or population
Also discuss Anti Muslim policies on part of western countries, like French bill against Hijjab, Swiss bill against Minarets of mosques, such things cause enmity among extremist Muslims and western states.
-> lust for hegemonic power
-> exploitation of natural resources of middle east countries by western states
-> shia and suni conflicts between middle east countries and arab states
-> hostility towards pro-western countries on part of extremists
-> spread of political islam during zia's era in pakistan in 1979(It would be better to discuss militarization of Pak Afghan border during that time or when USSR invaded Afghan
-> Injustices done by western countries on Muslims (both recent and in past)
-> islamic revolution in iran during shah of iran's era
-> debacle of 9/11
-> afghanistan invasion
->pakistan as a front line state on " war on terror"
-> operation against taliban
-> iraq invasion
->sectarian voilence in the region
->mumbai carnage 26/11
india's threat for war towards pak
-> india's role in defaming pakistan and projecting it a terrorist state

b) IMPACTS;
-> lack of harmony
-> distrust among states
-> inter state conflicts
-> innocence killing
-> hurdles in economic development
-> poverty
-> polarization
c) sugestions
Among suggestions also include suggestions for western countries to minimise exploitation of muslim's resources, to solve the Issues of Muslims like, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, Kashmir, Philippine and also other problems which muslims are facing because of non muslim states and their policies
-> awarness among muslim nations
-> true teachings of islam should spread
-> closer ties between islamic nations
-> role of media
->trade relations among muslim states
-> litracy rate should be increased in muslims states
-> accountability of madrassas on the part of the govt in muslim states
conclusion:-
In short i felt that you are putting all responsibilities on extremists or Muslims. You are focussing on one side of the problem, and ignoring the other side. blame both equally. (and yes if you can find the Speech of Mahateer Muhammed in OIC. That will really open your mind about these issues. And it will let you know the reservation of Muslims about western policies.

here's the link of Mahateer Muhammed Speech In OIC
