Post my points and knowledge about minorities. you must add something more.

OUTLINE.
1.Intrduction.
2.Significant Ethnic and religious minorities in Pakistan.
(a) Christians
(b) Ahmadi
(c) Sikh
(d) Hindu
(e) Kalash
(f) Chitralis etc
3. Status of Minorities in Constitution of Pakistan.
4. Minorities Rights.
5. Present condition.
6. Role of minorities.
7. Justice for minorities.
8. Required improvement for minorities.
9. Conclusion.

The word minority means the smaller number or part. So in a state or country the number of people who have the religion other than state’s religion are referred to as minorities. In each and every minorities exists and play their role in government as well as in different fields of country.

So now we will discuss the noteable minorities in Pakistan since partition. Quaid-e-Azam believes that all Pakistanis were equal irrespective of religion or caste. Soon after becoming the Governor General of Pakistan, he said to the minorities, ‘You are free to go to your temples; you are free to go to any place of worship in the state of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion or caste we are all citizens and equal citizens of the state.”

The above fair words of the founder of Pakistan shows his respect for minorities. The white portion in Pakistan’s flag shows the position of minorities. Adequate provisions should be made for the minorities to freely profess and practice their religion and develop their culture and to safeguard interests of minorities and backward depressed classes.
If it was just for a land we are living in today, then our heads hang in shame since we have failed to uphold the true spirit of Islam. The fact of the matter is that Islam is not as much complicated as we tend to make it with our rigid attitude and limited perception.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had defended the rights of non-Muslim minorities at many different places. He said, “O who kills a man under covenant (dhimmis) will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise” (Bukhari and Muslim). “Whoever murdered a zimmi, God closed the doors of heaven upon him”(Nasai).

Leaving minorities in Pakistan with the same destiny and sense of insecurity is not a good omen as it can destroy the national fabric. To recapitulate, green and white colours of Pakistani flag are beautiful combination similar to the proportion of Muslims and non-Muslim population which live in Pakistan. It is incumbent upon us to liberate Pakistan from unbridled hate mongering extremists and make it a peaceful land – a land really of pure people.
