From the Foreign Minister's Speech at LUMS
 

I was reading the [URL="http://www.mofa.gov.pk/mfa/pages/article.aspx?id=1166&type=3"]transcript of the speech[/URL] of our Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar. This she delivered at LUMS on 30th April 2012. There was a phrase which could make a strong essay topic:

[B]Pakistan is the first to suffer at the hands of strife in Afghanistan, and the first to benefit from peace in Afghanistan.[/B]

I have started planning its outline. Members with the ideas and pertinent material, please do share it here.

A stable, prosperous and peaceful Afghanistan is the only solution of our problems. Ms. Khar was right in saying that we don't have any right to decide for Afghanistan . It is the right of the people of Afghanistan to decide their fate. we have to realise that now the world has changed completely , the people in Afghanistan are more aware educated and ready to decide for themselves. we are living in 2012 not 1980's , now the requirements of the international relations are totally different every country needs sovereignty may it be Afghanistan , Iraq , Venezuela etc. the youth in Afghanistan is more aware and enthusiastic than any other country in the world. we must not think selfishly and let them decide for their country. they don't like our policy of strategic depth so we should shun this idea. we can educate and train them and this is the only good thing we can do for them.

I agree with call for change, but will there be peace with the govt that elected by America?

No, this time the people of Afghanistan have to choose their leader. US, Nato, Pakistan, India, Iran and all other stakeholders must not interfere in their internal affairs.

How they will choose there own government inspite that NATO and america is still there
