Dear prepare topic related to national issues, plus most important international issues related to Pakistan for essay. Like Energy crisis(Though it came in 2012 but expected in 2013 as well), Democracy in Pakistan, Judicial activism, Blasphemy, etc.
For Islamiat go through the syllabi given by FPSC, apart from that, also prepare some topics related ton contemporary issues like Blasphemy.
For current affairs cover all events of 2012. Give more emphasis to national events but also go through international events as well plus general knowledge for mcqs.

Never prepare any specific topic,prepare the topic from all dimensions and you will find yourself quite easy in paper to attempt it in the particular dimension they ask.

It'll be really helpful... and i too agree with your statement... smart work krny ki waqai zarorat hoti hy....plus you have to be strong enough to take the pressure... i'm not a bookworm and can never be one....i just clear my concepts and study only when my mind is fresh... can't cram things.... i hope i make it through this time i.A... ameen...

First of all.....................never expect an essay on topics like Blasphemy or Sectarian violence etc (My opinion)

Because here in competitive examination,people come from different backgrounds with different religious believes and they are not being tested for their believes

But you can find multiple articles and huge data on the topics I mentioned.

I agree with Iqbal bozdar & Sadia Shafique regarding the essay topics. But the "Role of Judiciary in Pakistan" is also a important topic. So along with suggested topics of senior members, also consider this one.
