Here goes mine
Let me take care of today, tomorrow shall take care of itself
1. Introduction: Ever since his arrival on the face of this Earth, man has subdued the greatest adversities of his life by devising an effective mitigation plan then and there. But unfortunately, the modern society in its quest of worldly desires has become oblivious to its day-to-day obligations and prefers to indulge in high sounding future planning devoid of any practical action. 2. What is meant by 'me' here? Considering the severity of challenges confronted by modern society, every social entity has to take care of its today. So, 'me' signifies: a) An individual b) A nation-State c) World community as a whole 3. What needs to be taken care of immediately? a) At individual level i. Materialism and restlessness ii. Moral decline iii. Evasion of obligations and insistence on rights only iv. Estrangement from Religion b) At State level (Challenges confronted by developed and developing States awaiting their timely solution*were separately discussed) c. At Global level i. Climate change ii. Nuclear weapons iii. Food crisis iv. Economic crunch v. Energy depletion 4. What is at stake? An immediate collective action plan is required to solve these problems as they are endangering our joint existence in animal kingdom. 5. How these timely actions will take care of our future? They will: a) Redress the suffering soul of man b) Address the decline of social values in society c) Produce responsible future generations d) Prevent next global economic meltdown f) Avert the problem of global warming g) Remove class disparities h) Check third world war Conclusion: Since "the only alternate to coexistence is co-destruction", all we need is to start taking care of our today to ensure a safe and prosperous tomorrow. AoA Hope you have taken css papers. Dear, a little reply was made to your post at another thread. This may be treated as detailed reply.... Perhaps you are having an understanding that government service is a child's play and whenever one will wish will go and serve and whenever will not having any benefit in it, will simply sit aside. For information, recruitment of a single individual, be it at higher grades or in lower grades, requires time and resources of government machinery. You applied for a post, then competed and by dint of your competence you were selected for that job and joined it. However, you got posting to a bit far area so you did not go to that far area and even did not bother to tender simple resignation letter! Either you were not having any such information nor guidance by any senior nor thought to discuss the matter with the Education Department people. .. Ignorance of law cannot be considered innocence. .. But then you got some advice letter to join that far area school and then show cause letters demanding your reply, but you were very busy in other things that did not deem it important even to send a simple written reply that you were not interested in joining service due to your posting in far area! Even though you gave joining, mean you agreed to terms and conditions given in offer letter, that may include term that you will be required to serve in any area of your district etc...... But then they might have sent final letter that you will be removed from service/dismissed from service, but that also did not get any attention. .... Perhaps you should think that you wasted time of many people and also got hold of seat for some good time, which could had been occupied by some deserving person. And what about the children of that school where you were posted? Did they not remain without teacher for great time ! Their studies were not spoiled, for kind information every year in a child's development makes him a good or a bad person. Very bad. Dishonesty and moral corruption! ... A civil servant is a public servant, he/she gets pay which comes from the tax paid by common people of the country. A person who is not having good shelter pays it, a person who cannot give good food to his children pays it, a person who cannot send his children to big schools pays that tax and that tax money was utilized for processing the case for recruitment of Educators! The Educators who are supposed to educate common people of the country!!! God willing you become CSP and posted to some other city, will you deny! or if given some tough assignment, will simply give a cold shoulder or possibly be a mediocre like a greater lot , much hue and cry and little work ! As per Punjab Civil Servant Efficency & Discipline Rules there are two types of termination one is dismissal from service and other is removal from service. If one is removed from service then that may not be having much impact but if one is dismissed from service then one can be disqualified for future employment in government service. Usually accused is given some edge and termination may be removal from service. However, in your case perhaps you had a contract employment and/or you were on probation, then you may not be removed/dismissed from service rather discharged from service, in that case there is no need of much tension. You can easily sail out of this issue. ..... The purpose of wasting lot of time to write above paragraphs was not to discourage, degrade, insult or disheart anybody rather to sensitize about various dimensions. If one is to become a civil servant, he/she should be having an understanding that they should not be playing their role in further breakage of this country and further deprivation of its poor people!! Regards

Here is what I remember.
Gender Equality is a myth. 1.Introduction [Do not remember what I wrote here word by word. My thesis statement which I remember ran like this] ...gender equality is a myth. This is reflected in their inequality in social ,economic, political, legal, and other spheres of life. 2.Meaning of gender equality 3.Situation of gender equality[one page...transition from meaning to the following arguments] 3.1. Inequality in social sphere[7-8 points in bullet form, in outline that is] 3.2 inequality in economic field [-do-] 3.3 Inequality in political circle[-do-] 3.4 Inequality in access to amenities[-do-] 3.6 Inequality in legal domain[-do-] 4. Causes underlying gender disparity. 5. Suggestions. 6.conclusion. [After conclusion I wrote] We have to understand a very basic point, "Eve was created out of the side of Adam, not out of his head to rule over him nor out of his feet to be trampled over, but out of his side to be equal with him, from under his arm to be protected and from close to his heart to be loved "~(some Henry. His name escapes me now, although I put it there) Outline spanned 2.5 pages and the essay12 pages(very compact...2000-2500 words). My English was wonderful that day. In the retrospect, though, I would have written a bit more about the situation of gender disparity around the world. I limited myself to the situation in pakistan mostly[or almost exclusively]. And wrote just one paragraph on the plight of the third gender. This is also the essay examiner will first clap his eyes on; my roll number is 00001.
