Dear forum fellows let's start drawing the outlines and getting them checked by the seniors at this forum. It's been realy hard for the aspirants to prepare for the subject of 'Essay' as everytime we view a new thread created containing questions and many of those are not answered.

Let's start portraying the ideas by drawing the outlines of the most contemporary topics from the papers of last five years or the current happenings (national and international).

The outlines must be drawn with the first go within 15 to 20 minutes exactly like the time allocated on average by the candidates in the competitive exam. We may call it an extemporaneous which will be helpful to bring out the actual gray areas in this particular subject and later those areas can be taken care of and improved on.

Seniors are humbly requested to please help us all in this regard by checking the outlines and posting their valuable suggestions.

Anyone can add suggestions in this idea to enhance its productivity.

Consistency, perseverance, patience and self-belief are the prerequisites of conquering over any problem and crisis. An individual can pull the mountains down and perform a herculian task if he or she has the courage of not giving up. However, majority of people after sustaining a bit of pressure, give up, which is a behavior for one to be highly concerned about.

(Z.A Bhutto's signing of Simla Agreement 1972 while facing a highly hostile government in a grave post-war situation)
(Passage of 13th amendment - Emancipation Proclamation - in the United States' constitution by Abrahm Lincoln in 1863 which was highly opposed in by the congressmen)

3. Success stories from history of science
(Thomas Edison's invetion of bulb after failing 99 times)
(Aeroplane invetion by Right Brothers etc.)

4. References from human evolution history
(Some important facts from cave-dwelling to the modern age)

(Stroy of King Bruce and Spider can be quoted)

6. Those who lack consistent behavior

7. Causes of inconsistent attitude

Not Economy but Politics Is a Key to Success

Outline

1. Introduction and Contention
The most integral determinant of success or failure of any nation is its economic condition. However, the economy is itself dependent on a system called ‘political system’. A country can only be economically stable, if it is politically strong, for economic policies emanate under political supervision. Unfortunately, in most of the developing countries and specifically in Pakistan, steps are taken to strengthen the economy without stabilizing their political system. Such wrong priority setting leads all the efforts astray.

2. Lessons from history
a. Decline of colonial powers
(Due to the racial, cultural, ethnic and all kind of discrimination against the people living in the colonies under the colonial regimes. This all was because of the inefficient political system. Spanish, French, Ancient Greek most of the other colonial powers faced decline due to political crises)

b. Coming of revolutions
(All the major revolutions that impacted the world at large came with the cause to restructure the political setup in order to bring about the paradigmatic change in a particular geographical area)

though i am not senior but I would like to contribute;
in essay Never.... Give up,

a) inclusion of some quotations can make good start & ending ....
b) Also living examples of Micheal jordon, Malala can be added
c) there should be some way/strategy to adopt Never Give Up attitude
d) Is Suggestion section is represented by -Attaining consistent behavior ?????
e) finding correlation between never give up and success/failure, hard work, patience etc (optional)

Dear u have made a good effort but i would like to suggest something which can be added.
Some recent developments in political culture of Pakistan,
Despite so many flaws in last government which has completed it constitutional tenure and successfully transferred power to new elected government.No doubt it is the first step towards democratic developments and continuation of policies in Pakistan.

Yes, a start with a quotation would be much proper and let me tell you honestly that I had mentioned Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi's qoutation "The miseries are the grounds of pleasures" when i expanded the aforementioned outline.

"Attaining consistent behavior" includes some methods to acquire the strength of not giving up.

I would appreciate even more if you contribute in terms of drawing the outlines as it can be helpful for the aspirants visiting this particular thread.

some of the recent systemic changes (passage of 18th amendment, consensual NFC award, first ever constitutional transition of power etc.) can be mentioned. However, to justify the contention in our essay we need to concentrate on the areas that need absolute concentration by the political forces and pressure groups.


I'm sure you can also honour us by posting some of your work in the shape outlines.

Well I lack sound political as well as economic background to argue & justify in either way...... A senior of mine also advised me to avoid economic related essays

but its really nice topic Not Economy but Politics Is a Key to Success, relevant to our current scenario of pak as well as of western states after Recession..........

I think Abraham though your effort is superb but still it needs qualitative & argumentative addition to justify your stance ..............

I suggest that input from subject specialists of Economics & Political science Form be included for more diverse, 3-dimensional eloquent justification , what you say Abraham ?????

In my view the topic "Not economy but politics is the key to success" requires more of an abstract rather than an objective or theoretical frameworks-driven approach. Therefore, to me consulting a subject specialist does not seem to be gravely important. If someone has a better approach towards the country's politico-economic affairs and standing in the international community, one can rise to the occasion in this regard.

Futhermore, the subject specialist can be consulted to learn more about the economically successful nations. Whereas the same can be learned from the online available sources.
