9. Conclusion
The pithy maxim above suits the contemporary Muslim World. It is because the Muslim World has suffered severely from rigidity on gender co-education to provision of gender specific education environment, from strong social tradition against co-education to spreading ignorance, from impurity of society to the persistent efforts of the progression of society, and most importantly women/girls are regarded, throughout the Muslim history, a source of immoral inclination of men. To dilute these sufferings, it gives impetus to the idea that there should be separate education system for both males and females.
In separate Education system, reluctant parents, who have been against the co-education system, will be persuaded to enroll their children in gender specific educational environment. The increasing number of new enrollment of children, who once were not allowed to receive their education in co-education system, will heighten the literacy rate of the respected Muslim country. This step of providing separate facility of education for both males and females is suited to our strong social tradition, where women/girls are discouraged, by somehow, in receiving education with the male gender in the same premise. It is the apprehension of the Muslim strata that, because women are regarded as a source of immoral inclination, it should not be granted to seek education in co-education system. On the other side, critics of separate education system hold an opinion that it would increase social alienation of the Muslim society in this dog eat dog world. Moreover, they argue that the downfall of the glorious Muslim dynasties was the social alienation because when people do not take interest anymore participating in political, social, and cultural life in the society, their power is blown out forever and replaced by other hostile powers. Therefore, in separate education system, the disintegration of the social fabric is prerequisite. In spite of such grave apprehensions of disintegration of social fabric, the benefits of separate education for males and females are outweighing its bane in contemporary Muslim World for immediate future.
