Question Everyday Science Book?

Any book through which I can prepare the Eds in detail without skipping any topic. A friend of mine had suggested me to prepare from "Discovering the World of Everyday Science by Mian Shafiq." Is that really is a good book from which I can study thoroughly or do I need some else rather than this?
ThankX

Dr Rabnawaz samo's book is comprehensive and covers almost entire syllabus. I found mian shafiq's book bit difficult to comprehend for the beginners specially. I went through the whole book and found it filled with unwanted information, which is not needed... Well, choice is yours brother.

2013 Edition of Prof. Dr Muhammad Akram Kashmiri's Everyday science with http://www.howstuffworks.com/ will serve the purpose, if you have done FSc...
