People dont fall from rollercoaster rides because of the centrifugal force.Now thats plain enough.Here comes the tricky bit.Doesn't the backward reaction of the seat belt provide that needed centrifugal force??Looking back,this is exactly what we were taught in o-level physics.So either the mcq is wrongly worded...or else...if at all u have to choose between the two options,centrifugal force has to be the answer bcoz the whole point of strapping yourself with the belt is to give the centrifugal reaction.
