There are hardly nine to ten scientists that you need to prepare. Better is to prepare it at the end after completing GS' mentioned syllabus in the syllabus document.

Brother can you name scientists which you believe we should know about?

For the time being, following:
1) Al-Khawarizimi;
2) Al-Razi;
3) Jabir Ibn Hayan;
4) Abu Ali Ibn Al Haitham;
5) Abu Ali Ibn-e-Sina;
6) Averroes(Ibn Rushd);
7) Nasir-ud-din Toosi;
8) Al-Biruni;
9) Ibn Al-Baitar;
10) Al-Kindi;
11) Al-Buzjani;
12) Al-Battani;
13) Umar Al-Khayyam;

Few shall be added to the aforementioned list later by considering the past papers and the relevant section of Muslim Scientists.

Furthermore, Non-Muslim scientists will also be added to the broad category of scientists. For example, Stephen Hawking(The writer of The brief history of time) etc.

Amended list shall be shared after Ramadan, In Sha Allah!

Hope it helps!

Regards.

Default Query about New syllabus EDS (Muslim Scientists)

In revised syllabus there is no topic mentioned related to Muslim Scientists and their Contributions. However in Recommended Books a book titled "Eminent Muslim Scientists 1991" by S. Fakhre Alamn Naqvi has been recommended.
Why is this so? Is this topic included in new syllabus or not?

Tons of books are recommended for one subject .obviously no one is going to read all them .i think we should follow the syllabus mentioned.
