Calculator is obviously not allowed, the second portion of the GK (Maths etc) is more likely an aptitude test similar to NTS. It's very easy and scoring way if one is good in Quick Maths.

I don't know will it allow in 2017 or not, but i dint bring in 2016 exam, when we start our paper examiner said you guys are allow to use calculator, so i suggest you to bring it with yourself keep in your bag, if allowed then request him to take that from bag.

Use of Calculator -CSS Exam
AS per Rule (xxiii) (CE-2018-Rules):
Use of calculators will only be allowed in Applied Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Accountancy, Statistics, Business Administration, Physics & Chemistry. Use of calculator will not be allowed in the paper of General Science and Ability. |
