Please guide me about the selection of books for this paper.

Is Kashmiri's book better than Mian Shafiq's?

Dear friend,

Both books are good but I personally prefer General Science and Ability by Mian Shafiq. It is very easy to understand and covers most of the syllabus. Apart from this book, consult last five years' past papers and you will be good to go.

Kashmiri is a bit better option. Relevant material. Reading JWT books won't make you even pass the exams. Crap, they googled every topic &pasted it in books.

Mian Shafiq book is better. Kashmiri book is too short as far I remember.
