Answer Structure

What should be the proper structure of a 5 marks question's answer? Should it be in points form or a single paragraph form? If so then what should be the appropriate word limit of the paragraph?

Depends on the question. .
for example: ' what is heart attack? give its causes?'
now for this question they have allotted 2.5 marks for what is heart attack and 2.5 marks for its causes. Ab app khud socho. . 2.5 marks k liye kitna likhoge? half page ya chalo one page will be enough. . and give 5 to 6 causes. 1 page front and back will be enough. .

your answer should be to the point and comprehensive style which cover all the pointdiagram is also very helpful to gain good marks

It can be in points but your points need to reply whatever has been asked in the question

I have the same question. My hand writing is small and I can fit plenty of words in a line. So for me 1 page (both sides) would mean almost 400-450 words (given that there are about 23 lines per one side) and I think that is too much for a science related question.

My question is how many words could do justice to a 5 mark question? I don't want to extend an answer unnecessarily and waste my time on it. For example I could go on an and on about an open ended question like what causes environmental pollution, but for others I will have only limited knowledge.

So what is is the appropriate and justifiable length of an answer in terms of number of words? I don't want my answer to be too small because I don't want to give the examiner any reason to fail me. :dd
