yes 10 years papers enough for the eds, that i know you will cover a lot of eds, but don't forget that this is a competitive exam and you must go for further topics this is most unpredictable exam, just take an exp of css2012, geography dominated in question paper, before this student and most teachers also suggested that one should skip geo, portion in eds...........

Lightbulb Differentiate among following

Respiration Photosynthesis
1. Respiration is a catabolic process in which compounds are broken down.
2. In this process the carbohydrates are broken down into simple sugars.
3. The end of the products is CO2 and H2O.
4. Occur during day and night. Light is not necessary for this process.
5. Energy is released from food material.
1. Photosynthesis is an anabolic process in which compounds are formed.
2. In this process the carbohydrates are manufactured.
3. The end product of this process is simple carbohydrates.
4. Occur during day time only. Light is necessary for the process.
5. It is energy coming process.
Renewable Resources of Energy Non-Renewable Resources of Energy
1. Renewable resources are used continuously and can be used again and again.
2. Examples are air, water, soil, wild life, forests, fish etc.
3. Renewable resources are constantly renewed by biogeochemical cycles of nature. E.g.: Animals take O2 and return to CO2 to environment.
1. Non-renewable resources of energy cannot be used again and again after their consumption.
2. Major examples include coal, oil, natural gas etc.
3. Non-renewable resources are being exhausted a day by day because their demand rise. Due to worldwide demand of fossil fuels; its supplies are declining.
Artery Vein
1. Arteries are blood vessels which transport blood away from the heart.
2. The inside lumen or bore of the arteries is narrow.
3. Arteries carry oxygenated blood with the exception of pulmonary artery.
4. The walls of the arteries are elastic.
5. The blood is under great pressure in arteries
Arteries are end in capillaries.
1. Veins are blood vessels which always carries blood towards the heart.
2. The inside bore or lumen of veins is wide.
3. The walls of vein are less elastic.
4. The blood under less pressure in veins.
5. Veins start from capillaries.
Lymph Plasma
1. Lymph is the part of blood which comes out of the blood capillaries.
2. The lymph is in direct contact with tissues.
3. The lymph usually contains Bacteria.
4. Lymph moves slowly. 1. Plasma is that part of blood which remains inside the blood vessel.
2. The plasma doesn’t have a direct contact with the tissue.
3. Plasma usually does not contain Bacteria
4. Plasma move quickly.
Laser Light Ordinary Light
1. Laser light is disciplined light.
2. Laser light has photons of same length.
3. It can be focused on very small point.
4. It is coherent light.
5. It is used in medicine and for diagnostic purposes.
1. It is undisciplined light.
2. Ordinary light has no photons of the same length.
3. It cannot be focused on a very small point.
4. It is incoherent light.
5. It has no medical use.

Default Corrections!

I would try to reason the answers! Here is what I believe.

(29) Which of the following explains the reason why there is no total eclipse of the sun? its D
a,b and c are always constant. It is there combo that decides D and that eventually decides how much sun is covered by moon.
d. Area of the sun covered by the moon

(35) Kilowatt-hour is a unit of: C
c. Energy (generally measures electricity that one uses at home)

Kindly Correct me if I am wrong, Regards.

21. Gases and Liquid actually transfer heat through convection so A is true but then Vacuum also allows heat to pass through Radiation and not conduction so it is true as well! now what?

23. It is Atoms. In fact a molecule is a combination of Atoms.

27. Your Answer is Right! Just to clear you out ..
PH of Strong Base is 14, PH of strong Acid is 0, PH of Water is 7. Ok when you will Add alkali to the solution, then the PH will increase and increase only.

31. Its combo of all. The very computer you are using is converting electrical signals into Bits, optical fibers send it to long distance, and you have radio waves too that are facilitating this all. (the question is part of computer course waisay)

33. Add subtract and sort but cannot classify information.

[QUOTE=xaara~hussain;405827]1. The planet of the solar system which has maximum numbers of Moon is:

21.Which one of the following statements is true:

a) Gases do not conduct heat
b) The best conductors are non-metals
c) Conduction currents occur only in liquids
d) A vacuum can not conduct heat
e) None of the statements is true.

23. The building blocks of elements are called:

a) Atoms
b) Molecules
c) Compounds
d) Isotopes
e) None of these

27. If an alkali is slowly added to an acidic solution, the pH of the acidic solution will:

a) Increase (not sure)
b) Decrease
c) Increase to 7 and then decrease
d) Decrease to 7 and then increase
e) Will remain same

31. Information can be sent over long distances in the form of:

a) Electrical signals through wires
b) Light signals through optical fibres
c) Radio waves through air
d) Any combination of these three.
e) None of these

33.Computers can:

a) Add and subtract information only.
b) Add subtract and sort information only.
c) Add subtract sort and classify information.
d) Add and subtract but cannot sort information.
e) Add subtract and sort but cannot classify information.

Default Kindly Check!

This is what I believe, kindly have a look.

1. C (Gases and Liquid transfer heat by Convection, so is air)

10. A (You are Right, Light is Visible to human eye, which is one of its properties) (Transparent or Opaque are the material themselves actually, the material like glass or air which allows one to see through is called transparent while opaque are those which do not allow such as dust particles in this case), had light been invisible (Not Visible), we all would have been blind.

11. A (we need same size, its a plane mirror, had it been concave even then we would have been dependent upon the object distance!)

19. E (none, its a unit of flow for e.g. water flow; volume per second)

22. B (Magnification = Distance/focal length)

26. A (That's why Astronauts need to wear those suits else they gonna explode in space, so An equal and opposite pressure acts from inside)

40. I am not sure, I feel it is Basal Metabolism; essential body process only it says.

48. Oxygen (By weight)

a) An equal and opposite pressure acts from inside
b) of the height of a man
c) of gravity
d) Earth pulls the man upward
e) None of these
