Default Is sun closer to Earth in winter?

Is sun closer to earth in winter than summer? if so , what is the phenomenae? Plz Seniors.

On january 3,earth is closest to the sun.and the distance between them is about 91.5 million miles(position called perihelion).

After that the distance between earth and sun ascends until july 4.And on july 4, the distance between them is about 94.5 million miles(position called Aphelion).
