Question what are the constituents of Sun?

Hello friends,
On the question of what are the constituents of the mass of the sun and in what amount, I have come across some contradictory figures. For examples: kashmiri says 90% of sun is made up of hydrogen, 8% helium and 2% others. Whereas, in one encyclopedia of science in the POPULAR SCIENCE series, the figures are as follows: hydrogen 80% helium 19% and remaining 1% others. Yet another figure to the tune of hydrogen 74%, helium 24% and remaining % other elements can be found out with little browsing on net.
So, what are the correct numbers?

dear it is nothing to worried about. amount is decreasing with the tune of time. so initially it was only hydrogen then it started converting into helium. other elements might be there.

so it is a fact that hydrogen is converrting into helium. considreing this fact in mind then initially hydrogen was might 90%, now 80% and will go on decreasing.

atleast such contradictory facts are not asked in exams. so dont be pertrubed buddy.

regards
