Kashmiri's book is good for a beginner , also study EDS from internet. It is good to learn about the scientists as they are asked every year with the exception of this year's paper.

Just memorise some of the important books of the Muslim Scientists. Most of the time it is asked in MCQ's.

Nothing is necessary, it is only good that you cover as much as is possible. Muslim Scientists are asked every year in which you have to write about their exact lifespans and a brief about their contributions which mostly are in the form of books. You have to remember only the names of books and that doesn't require any science background. So don't worry..just memorize them!

Worry not. If it is difficult for you then omit this part of EDS.

Dear you have to study solar system to understand this. I try to explain a bit here.
Solar system consists of a star and planets. Star is the sun while planets are mercury, venus, earth, mars, jupiter, saturn, uranus, neptune and pluto. Planets revolve around the sun. And these planets have their natural satellites called as moon. These satellites revolve around the planets. Each planet has its own satellites or moon. Earth has one moon, few have more and two have no moon. It goes like this.

Moon revolves around planets and planets revolve around star or sun.

For more details: read solar system.

I hope it helps.

Regards,

They are bit costly but only a bird view of these books would be helpful, Rab Nawaz Samo's book is also suggested by some of the colleagues and members. But for a beginner Kashmiri's book+ FSC, or better if you find A,O-Level books, are very helpful. And lastly after going through these book one's last step should be of solving the past 10-15 years papers of EDS. It will help you a lot.

P.S, Make your own brief and short notes for revision during the exams days.

I have just started prep with Samo's book. It is full of additional things like pschological behaviours, genetic diseases and enviromental diseases etc which are nowhere in the syllabus. Do i have to learn all these things or focusing specifically on syllabus would do it. I lack science background that is why its kinda hard nut. Please guide.
