Obviously upward. When you look downward, you can only see the surface of the moon, on which you will be standing

Upward.its just like being on earth. You cant look downward below the horizon, you can only look up but it also depends where you stand on the moon and where is moon in its orbit.

Sometimes you will have to look forwards, sometimes upwards, to the sides or backwards, but never down. The moon would block the view, because the moon is a world just like the Earth. similarly if you are on the near side, earth is upward. if you are on the far side earth is downward, but the moon is kind of in the way.
