Logical Reasoning and Subjective Paper
Logical reasoning is the part that troubles me most.
1) I am unable to find out the logic in statements. And even after reading the answer I, most of the times, disagree with the answer chosen by writer. Is there any standard way or method to reach the exact answer in logical reasoning? 2) In MCQ type tests we are asked to choose the answer from available choices that supports most or weakens most the statement of problem. As the paper will be subjective then how come we choose the most supportive or most weakening answer? Will we be required to write a supportive statement on our own? 3) How can we solve logical reasoning problem with steps as paper will be subjective? 4) I want to post questions of logical reasoning here. Can any body solve them and guide all aspirants? If any member of this forum is willing to help then please reply so that I may post the problems here. |
I have the same confusion brother. Everybody is suggesting that we prepare GRE type questions but it is clearly stated that this will be a subjective paper. What are we supposed to do?

Answer: There will a 20 MCQs from Part-I, whereas subjective part will be of 80 marks i.e. 40 from Part-I and 40 from Part-II. i will answer your question within a few days . as soon as i get in contact with my teachers , i will ask them about this problem. |
The previous EDS paper now carries 60 marks only (20 MCQs) included.
40 marks subjective is a big question mark. Please do ask and post a reply "Cream rises to the top but so does dead froth." |

I think this part is taken from Paper 1 of Philosophy (LOGIC)
You need to study either Patrick Hurley - A Concise Introduction to Logic OR Popkins - Philosophy Made Simple. i think first 5 or 6 chapters will cover all. |
There will be 3sub parts of a single question regarding analytical and logical reasoning.
I think there will be a paragraph consisting of questions to be answered (Analytical portion). |
This time EDS paper will be least Scoring :0
