Question Ghamdi - Unique Concepts among other scholars
I've been watching Mr.Ghamdi's lectures, I have found that he is presenting some positive or optimistic thinking of Islam. Whereas he is unique among the other ulema's as his sayings doesn't represent any sort of extremism.

Kindly, share you view about Ghamdi.

Javed Ahmed Ghamidi sahab is one phenomenal scholar. He is a paragon of patience and etiquette (the traits that our religious pundits have seldom underscored).

There are things I absolutely admire about Ghamidi and there are things which hardly make any sense to me. I appreciate the way he tends to have recourse to Quran and Sunnah. He does not really follow the fiqh that has evolved over the years and to be honest, I admire that. On the other hand, I am little skeptical about some of the doctrines that he preaches e.g his arguments pertaining to itmam-e hujjat are so not cogent.

As much as I admire him, I would rather warn you to not give his reference in any exam. Those who are against him (and sadly, they are in majority) detest him to the marrow of their bones.
