1-Introduction:
Human rights are basic rights, ranging from right to live alive till right to freedom of expression. It emphasis upon equality in socioeconomic, region and political fronts irrespective of caste, creed, language and origin etc. Withing human rights, the world can not retain and develop peacefully. Hence, the human rights makes this world worth living and it maintains peace and prosperity.

2-A bird Eye View of Historical Background of Human Rights.
Human rights are fundamental rights of every one. These rights are ranging from right to live till right to liberty and expression. Its origin lies in Greek & Rome. The great philosophers like Socrates, Aristotle and Plato who gave the basic concepts of rights. However, Magna Carta document legalized the human rights across the world. Later on it further strengthened by the wife of D.Roosvelt who wrote a special document of Human rights after World War I due to immense human violation and destruction. Thereby, on the platform of United Nations, the united Declaration of Human rights was signed in 1948 to protect the human rights.

3-Human Rights in Islam

i) Definition of Right
Right means "Haqooq", it is an Arabic word, that is a plural word of "haq".

Islam is complete code of life, it teaches us about every thing. Our last prophet P.B.U.H also emphasised on human rights. In his last sermon, that is known as hajat-ul-widah, he made a comprehensive speech about the rights. Nevertheless, Islam has taught us about human rights comprehensively, some of the main points of human rights in Islam are as under:

i) Human Rights in Islam
a) Social Responsibility:
b) Brotherhood, Tolerance
c) Sanctity of Human Life:
d) Freedom of Religion: (non Muslim)
e) Honour and Dignity:
f) Right to Know/Education:
g) Health Care:
h) No Punishment without Trial:
i) Right to privacy:
j) Freedom of Conscience:
k) Equality and Equal Protection of Law:
l) Occupation and Earning livelihood:
m) Freedom of Movement:
n) Freedom of Choice and Action

4-Comments: Critical Analysis
Present world depicts the human violation inspire of having international community and mulism law. The whole Muslim-e-Ummah's rights are violated. Recently, Bangladesh hanged the opposition leader for war crime. Moreover, in our country, the human rights are just nominally. Likewise, world community is also silent on human rights. No one arises the voice against human violation in Afghanistan, Syria, Egypt and many other countries. Although it is unlawful to persecute anybody against his/her rights and beliefs, yet across the world, we are seeing the human violation greater in intensity and larger in scale.

I have tried to answer your question what I knew, if anything is missed, please doe let me know? Constructive suggestions and improvement is always welcomed.

Regards:

Such questions do not come in Islamiat, though one must be well prepared from every angle. I have prepared this topic too.

You have new syllabus at disposal, cover each and every thing with different perspective, you will be done. Apart from this, read different news papers comprising Islamic portions.
