Respected members, is it okay if someone gives Ayats in urdu and writes surat and ayat number in bracket or writing arabic compulsory to score high?

In my 2015 attempt I obtained 65 marks in Islamiat. I attempted the paper in English and quoted the exact Ayat in Arabic with marker without giving reference of Sura or Ayat number. That's why, I believe more then reference, the Ayat matter more, be that in Arabic or with their proper translation in English or Urdu . Sent from my Galaxy S6 using Talpatalk.
