Respected members, is it okay if someone gives Ayats in urdu and writes surat and ayat number in bracket or writing arabic compulsory to score high?

Both of the methods work. Secondly, it is not mere Ayat which bag you good marks. Besides them, one should have properly discussed the ideas without resorting to irrelevant details.

In my 2015 attempt I obtained 65 marks in Islamiat. I attempted the paper in English and quoted the exact Ayat in Arabic with marker without giving reference of Sura or Ayat number. That's why, I believe more then reference, the Ayat matter more, be that in Arabic or with their proper translation in English or Urdu .

But its difficult to remember a lot of ayats as one has to memorise 12-15 quotations per topic.. thats why i am memorising translations with refernce surat and ayat number. Hope that doesn't effect much..
