Default Islamiyat in Urdu Or English needs help

Salaam to all,,,
As I am preparing for CE 2017 and have selected all the subjects, but I am much confused with islamiyat as should I take this in english or go for Urdu,,
I know that taking this only subject in urdu besides 11 english courses is some what difficult but at the same time I think that we can elaborate and can give explanation of the questions much better in Urdu as i belonged to urdu medium schools and for me it would b much easier to quote islamic verses and all in urdu rather then in English ,,,
By coming these all thoughts I am much confused with this subject,,
Strongly needs guidance and suggestions on this,,,

If you can elaborate the questions better in Urdu than English then attempt this subject in Urdu.
you should also practice writing urdu as it could be proved as hurdle in the exam.

This is the tragedy with urdu medium education systems. I would highly recommend to try in English but if you think that it will make a huge difference then go with Urdu. Ayat and Hadith can be written in English, there is no rule that they have to be in Arabic/Urdu.

I have seen candidates with urdu medium scoring 70+ and at the same time some candidates failing in the subjects.
same is the matter with english medium. Real thing which makes the difference is quality of presentation. So you should choose the medium which you think is more convenient for you.

Walikum salam,

It's all about the quality of your expression. You should have a strong grip on your concepts. If you think yourself comfortable in Urdu that you can express your views better in this language then go with it unless English. It is important to remember that whatever the medium you opt, you should practice it.

Good luck.

Stay blessed.

You may consult 'Islamiat by Hafiz Karimdad', published by Caravan publishers. It is a good quality book. Plus, csspoint.com is also profound with free E-books for both compulsory and optional subjects.

Best or luck.

Stay blessed.

Yes, it's also a good book. I have also read it. It's in detail. The more you read, the better you comprehend the concept. Being a Muslim, we know the basics of Islam, but in order to be unique from others, it's wise to consult more than one book. Do read Islamic articles in Friday DAWN. These would be helpful a lot.

Good luck.

Stay blessed.
