Default Islamiat paper

Hi, Guys
I attempted my paper in URDU From opposite side of answer sheet. I didn't mention that I am starting from the URDU site. Would this have any impact?

Examiners, at my center, announced before examination to start writing from same side. They said Urdu or English does not matter and everyone has to start from page 1. Last year, nobody told us that. I remember, I had written it from opposite direction. I do not think so that it can impact your paper. Do not worry about that. Prepare your next papers.

It's just a rule. It is no big deal. Last time, I started from right side and got 56.

I attempted in Urdu. I did prepare in English but when paper came in my hand, I started writing in Urdu. I have attempted in Urdu this year as well.
My marks were in sixties. I am unable to recall exact since range of my marks was same for most of my papers and I always intermingle them.
Medium does not matter that much. I chose to write in Urdu because, I have studied this subject in Urdu till my Bachelors so, I was comfortable writing in it. Also, I am from Urdu medium background and I have extensive practice of Urdu writing. Moreover, I had learnt Urdu Writing from professional when I was in school. Urdu also gave me advantage of writing verses in Arabic this time. Last year, I only wrote their Urdu translations. In English, one can only write English translation of Quran and Hadith while in Urdu you can write Arabic version and even poetry of Iqbal.
Students of both medium get pretty much the same score. It is about how efficiently and effectively you give to the point answer in required length. Examiner give extra credit i.e above 70 score to those who write Arabic verses etc. Also one should use valid references while answering questions to increase credibility of your answers. Choose the medium which will give you maximum advantage in terms of background practice, preparation and writing.

Ma'am, if I am not mistaken, there is no restriction on writing verses in Arabic while attempting paper in English. Arabic is as different to Urdu as it is different to English.

I know there is no restriction. I have taken guidance from someone who have experience of checking CSS Islamic Studies papers. He told me that they expect only English translations. He told me not to write Arabic verses. I know Arabic is difference as I have studied it for 3 years even Arabic writing style is significantly different from Urdu. I was told that I should attempt in English if I do not have enough preparation of Arabic Verses and Hadith. In Urdu paper, Arabic blends in and does not look odd. Moreover, one can also write poetry. He even told me to quote persian quotations and poetry related to the topic. If one can do that, he or she should go for Urdu. If one does not have at least 1 verse and Hadith prepared for each topic, he or she should attempt in English for scoring 60 plus. Examiner demands it. Without verses still one can score as high as 65 in this subject.

Yes, that's a balanced and quite reasonable take on this matter. I have attempted paper in English with verses in Arabic though I was confused that should I go for English or Urdu till the paper came into my hands. I felt that explaining all the questions will take so much time in Urdu as I have no practice of writing Urdu since intermediate though I also studied Arabic for three years during my LL.B Hons Shariah and Law, and in English, one can write precisely yet comprehensive. I also went for English because this is my first CSS attempt and I ran out of time in almost every paper till now and always been short of a question so basically I have attempted 3 questions in every paper and missing a whole question of 20 marks every time, is not a good sign for me. There is a girl sits one seat before me and she always complete her paper with one hour remaining and leave the hall. I wonder how can she manage to write that fast a lengthy paper in just two hours with only two pages leaving behind at max.
