You can and should write Arabic text. However, it should be error-free.
My approach was neither progressive nor secular. I was really careful about that. Writing and preparation strategy was not flawed either. I think my Urdu writing is bit slower than English writing so, I may have not written enough material to convince the examiner. In English, I usually write 6 to 8 pages per question. Sometimes more but never less than 6. In Urdu, I barely touched 6th page in all the questions.
I can conveniently get these notes from Punjab University since I am studying there at the moment. Thank you for suggestion.
I just want to ask something. I had quoted Arabic Verses in my paper when I attempted it in Urdu in 2017 and 2018. Some seniors or even teachers say that we cannot write Arabic text when we attempt our paper in English. Is it true or is it okay to use them since Arabic is different language and it should not make any difference if we attempt our paper in Urdu or English. I know one can use Urdu translation in Urdu medium and English translation in English medium but what about Original Arabic text? I can write in Original Arabic text and I want to use it in my examination. So, share your valuable opinion.
That's completely wrong that one can't use Arabic text while attempting the paper in English. First of all i myself did this both in CSS and PMs and in both scored 68 and 69. Secondly, it makes sense if one is using the original Quranic Verses. However, use the Quranic Verses and arabic version of Ahadith without punctuation, without zer o zabar.
Original Arabic text would be easier in preparation and more impactful in presentation.

@Tassawur
Thank you. I was attempting this paper in Urdu because someone misguided me that we cannot write them in English paper. Now, this time I will go with English medium since I can perform better in that language. Yes, I do not use punctuation because I know I will make mistakes and this can decrease my score further. I will try to write original Arabic Verses and Ahadith without punctuation next time InShaAllah.

@Shahkaar
Thank you for your valuable suggestion. I have noted and will try my best to follow.

I had very high score. I am unable to understand that what went wrong. I have attempted it in Urdu both times. Now, I am seriously thinking about switching it to English. I have pretty good handwriting to attempt this paper in medium I am comfortable with. I have failed this subject with 18 correct MCQs. Still in shock. Your suggestions are highly valuable.

It depends on one's preparation even then. For instance , i had prepared and memorized the relevant Ayyat from Quran and also prepared translation of some of them in English. On the other hand if you have prepared the translation in Urdu , or have some taste of Urdu poetry and you can quote relevant poetic verses also , you may go with Urdu.

Best of Luck for the next attempt. I am an example in front of you who got failed and next obtained good marks in the same subject by identifying and removing my mistakes and adding extra effort.

(As that person Shahkaar posted it nearly 6 months ago ,so i am answering it .hopefully, he will answer it later)

Do all these things as per given in this thread for Urdu version and you will get same results, i think these strategies are general ones and applicable to both ;english and urdu languages . What Tasswur has shared will work for urdu too . You will have to give references of Ayahs and Ahadith , with it of some books . Then , as he has written it that outline at the start of answers ,then headings with one paragraph explanation . I think this stuff is good for every paper , and can boost your score.

Maybe , here i can add one thing that if one is going to give attempt in urdu then do read Friday Features in Urdu newspapers ,be it Daily Jang or Nawa-i-waqt etc . One of my friend scored 78 ,and all he had to say after result was that his high score is a result of this fact that he never missed any Friday feature during his preparation and that thing helped him in tackling Islamiat paper . And here i am talking about CE-2014 ,when most of the candidates failed in Islamiat .
