Default Islamiat is be attempted in eng or urdu

Plz guide me which medium is best to attempt Islamic Studies either English or Urdu, Is there any motive or reason to get high marks in it? Does medium of attempt may cause higher or lower marks? people says English is good to get high marks? What someone feel more comfortable in Urdu medium. i am a bit confuse either to start in Eng or Urdu.
