Arabic Verses or their English translation?

Hi,

I have decided to give Islamic studies exam in English. I have one query though . While attempting the paper in English, can I write Arabic verses and Ahadees or am I supposed to write their translation? I want to write Arabic as I heard it fetches good marks and one can get away with writing fewer verses as compared to writing their translation.
If yes then I have another question. How does the Arabic fit in English text? Wouldn't it look weird writing Arabic in a paper you are writing in English?

I've heard diverse opinions. I'd be grateful if someone can clarify. Thanks a bunch.

It doesn't look weird for two reasons: One, every subject is unique and has its own way of writing. So, as the Muslims' Holy scripture is in Arabic, you can quote verses in its original language in the paper of Islamiat (Science of Islam). Second, your main audience is the exam checker. As, almost every Islamiat checker of CSS knows Arabic to some extent, there is nothing to worry about.

Conclusion: One can quote verses in Arabic and the past results show that this style of writing is rewarded more as compare to others.

Stay blessed
