Default Preparation sources for Islamic studies

There's plenty of information available about all major subjects of CSS except Islamic studies. If you search any topic of Islamic studies there'll be a general content
Not in depth nor covering philosophical aspect of that topic . Books like Karim dad , Dr Hamid's are good but given the patten of questions in past paper one get confused as above mentioned sources don't cater the requirements of question. Help needed in this regard. How to develop scholarly approach to get good passing marks in Islamic studies. Have wasted a lot of time. Also I have gone through most of threads in css forum still I'm not satisfied 😔
