Should I select Islamiat in Urdu or English?
I have studied Islamiat in Urdu throughtout my academic career. and i am well aware of Islamic terms & glossary in Urdu than English. But now some friends have suggested me to select English laguage for Islamiat for CSS. Because its hard to get good marks in Urdu version Islamiat. I need suggestions for this confusion. Especially CSPs here, plz guide me in this situation

I'v always been advised by my sincere elders (CSPs) n teachers that Islamiat should be attempted in English. For c0nvincing further about this, I'v found following supportive arguments,
1) A traditional teacher usually has a relaxed and marks-giving attitude while checking an English-attempted paper 2) Moreover, we extensively go through English study-material while preparing 11 other subjects of written portion or atleast 6 compulsory subjects. So when questions are asked according to New Pattern then it becomes easy to put a convincing reply with already done brainstorming and insight of the topics asked. 3) Practice of writing Urdu remains out of question for a considerable period of time after initiating preparation of CSS as compared to English so it also affects efficiency on the paper day. However, its not English or Urdu that finally determine's ones's marks but the quality of material produced so one should always go for the language in which one feels more relaxed comfortable and effective. |

opting islamiat in urdu or english is not a n issue.
20 marks of objectives same for everyone 5 questions of 16 marks each we read islamiat most of time in urdu and and are aware of terms in urdu more than english. but as we are not used to write urdu because other subjects are in english ,we feel problem if you have good points to write ,what difference would it make if you write in urdu or english. one should be have solid knowledge and may use either urdu or english according to his/her wish and skill. people scored 70+ with both urdu and english so it is matter of material that counts not language.

If you have opted for urdu in ur optional then attempting Islamiat in english should be out of question. If not, then it depends, & as said rightly Maha Khan, focus on versus & Hadiths.
