@ shahid shakoor

These topics are related to islamiat as its based on current affairs pattern from last 2 years but these can be helpful in essay as well. As far as Muslim law is concerned, topics of law are lil bit different as compare to islamiat paper but few topics like women related, ijtihaad, sources of law, Islamization, Dower in islamic law and its practices in pakistani society and its social impact, Consent of women in marriage from shariah perspective comparison with love marriages in our society comes under law as well. Don't be confuse, make separate list for islamiat and Muslim Law topics, adopt required technique to answer these questions like Muslim Law is technical but islamiat is more related to current affairs in recent scenario.

Hope it 'l work:

This article might be a good one from Islamiat's perspective but it has nothing to do with real facts. Muslims were only united under the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam (the true Ameer) not some Sheikh-ul-Hind (???) Mahmood Hasan. And the causes pointed out by Taqi Usmani are too generic. According to me the causes are many but the main 2 were or are ... no ijtihad and no serious effort in education (research, science n technology, new discoveries, experiments, lack of world class university, biased approach towards history, too much self glorification, no future planning etc)

Aariz you only need to read newspaper regularly. The kind of paper we attempted was completely general and one should only have critical approach+knowledge of current affairs.

My little knowledge and after thorogh reading of past 5 to 10 years paper i came to know following things which may help in securing better scores..

1. true perspective of islamic ideology, meaning your thought must reflect the original idea and should not be ambigous. in order to achieve this, one must read out some of the well known authors.
-- Maulana mododi
-- dr zakir naik
-- dr hamidullah
-- karen armstrong ( her books are famous on Islam and Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W)
-- friday features.
2. most of the recent past papers show that burning question regarding religion and especially ISLAM are asked which are not simple narrative instead a solution is asked for instance; Islam and Terrorism, Islam and woman, Islam and human rights, Muslim ummah challenges.
3.try to memorise some of the ayats and hadiths which cover these topics coupled with some famous western writers like burtand russel (even though he was atheist yet he has focused the need of religion in human life)

if we take this paper as our intrest we can make most of it. but need is to be a moderate muslim.
last but not the least... cover all those topics which come under the domain of islam and happened throughout the year all around the world!
regards
