Default Guidance needed for Islamiat

Guys can someone help me out on how to prepare for Islamiat. We know that alot of candidates failed in Islamiat 2010 paper so I am putting special emphasis and focus on this subject. At the moment I am preparing from

1)Advanced Concepts in Islamic Studies by Imtiaz Shahid
2)Islamiat By Farkhanda Noor (The O Levels book)

I also have notes of Officers Academy but they are depressingly, illegible

My questions are

1)Are these books sufficient for preparation? If not, please recommend some
2)Please also recommend any book/other source for MCQs of Islamiat
3)Please guide on how to attempt the question and what style should one adopt. What should be the main crux of our answers and what sort of supporting material we can use to get maximum marks.

Apart from this, I would also highly appreciate any other tips etc.

THanks!

Hi Mani! I am one of the candidates who managed to fail themselves in Islamyat. The clear reason for my failure was the wrong attempt of two of the questions. You must understand it's a very easy paper but you need to apply a little common sense. My sole advice will be to have a clear understanding of the question and do have an outline before attempting it. I managed to lose the plot of outline while attempting two questions that's why I got 34 in it.

Thank You!

AOA mani,
I was also failed in Islamiat by scoring 37 I attempted in urdu.
My best advice to u dont depend on notes of any academy, they have insufficient & limited knowldge, but after my exmas i find a book "Islamiat (jadeed Tanazur Main) " by Bhatti sons, i find this book knowldgeable, composed & according to the questions.
Best thing of this book is this that it has solved past paper questions.
I consult this year but unfortunately due tou some reasons, i m missed my las chance.
anyway try this book & dont forget to consult Friday editions of top Newspapers.
Best of luck

Bumping this. Though I passed the 2011 written, I have no idea how I attempted the paper, so need some tips again :P This strategy (the one in opening post); Is it good enough? And whats the deal with headings? Are we supposed to give headings in our answer?

and what else can be done to improve score?
