Default How to prepare Islamiyat?

Given the current trend in Islamiyat paper, how it should be prepared?

In addition to topics given in syllabus, one has to go for current affairs topics as well. Share your strategy and tips.

The syllabus is gone out-dated now.. Almost nothing comes from it.. U must check out the past papers friend.. make your guess paper.. prepare those topics..!!

as far as material is concerned, u should read one book by any good author.. and for updated knowledge u must try to read articles from a good news paper..i found notes by younis marri in this forum very usefull .. his notes are in Islamiyat section..

This is what i have done..
for mcqs portion i suggest prepare only past mcq's.. only 3 to 4 will be repeated.. but they will be helpful.. as mcqs come from no where in Islamiyat paper..

Do it and Inshallah you will be bestowed with success..!

In my two attempts the most difficult subject i encountered was Islamiat.Although i don't know the syllabus of Islamic history and culture, maybe you should look into that for MCQs which are by far the hardest MCQs of any CSS paper.

Personally i used Dr.Arif Saleem(or maybe it's naseem) book, it is not a great quality book but it does cover all the syllabus.Prepare very well for Islamiat tbh, the last two papers were very difficult atleast in my opinion
