Thank you for the hardwork Naveed.
I was going through Islamiat papers and found that the trend for papers got varied in 2012 to 2013 and in the re-exam. Prior to that, papers were quite technical and conceptual. I have heard that FPSC keeps examiner same for three years. What do you expect what kind of questions will be asked in 2014? Simple and straight as in 2013 or tricky ones?
Looking forward to hear from you

I guess the era of Simple and straight forward questions in CSS exams is over by now. The questions will be more conceptual and analytical in nature. The ones with good background knowledge of Islam, its history and other religions along with good analytical skills will surely do good in coming exams.

For a 20 marks question, the answer should at least contain 550 to 600 words. Try and understand question and then answer accordingly which is very important. Divide your answer among various headings, make it beautiful with use or Black and Blue Markers. Try to start and end your answer with a relevant quotation, be it a Quranic Ayat, Hadith or a quote.

I hope it works

Which book, do you think, would be enough to cover theses aforementioned questions? Brother, I haven't, so far, touched this subject as I, you know, am running out of time so please do suggest me a valuable book (in English).

Brother Islamiat for A/O levels by Farkhanda Noor is the best book and easy also, apart from that other books are:

Islami Nazariya-e-Hayat by Prof. Khurshid Ahmad
Ideology of Islam By anwar Hashmi
Islamic Belief by Mufti Abdul Waheed

Other Study Material (Recommended)
Best: Friday Features from Dawn News paper
Video Lectures of Dr Zakir Naik (Q/A Sessions)
Video Lectures of Javed Ahmed Ghamdi
Documentaries on Islam and other religions (topdocumentaryfilms.com)

But the best exercise apart from reading books is to solve past 10 years papers, using these books, lectures and internet. this exercise if performed properly will surely boost your scores.
