Default problems in islamiat

i have opted islamiat in urdu and the book im reffering to is ISLAMI NAZARYA E HAYAT by khursheed ahmad.

The problem is that uptill now i have read 1/5th of the book but it feels like im getting no where;when ever i see the past papers.
is it just me or does this usually happens , plus should i get some notes to study after reading the book once.

Get a book specifically written for CSS islamiat. It will provide good guidance and keep you on track.

I felt the the same even after reading whole book ,, by putting my full effort i was just able to get idea of last portion of this book ,, i read it once only and then i realised that i should have never go through this book ,, so now i have two books by Al-Fouzi publisherz ,i head read one of them partially ,, this book is By Hafiz Abdus Saboot Thakur and Dr, Adil Iqbal titled as Islamiat for Css and PMS , this is good book with a few printing mistakes but its good for CSS aspirants ,, Its language and Text is not as tough and Rough as book of Dr , Khursheed Ahmed.. you must consult this book ,, i hope it would be beneficial to fetch Good MArks

It's always good to make your own notes whether lengthy ones or in bullet points.

Islamiat by Attia Bano is very easy book for basics of Islam.

As you have seen past papers so you should prepare this subject according to the pattern i.e analytical & based on current issues.Internet is best in this regard.

Besides,see this thread,
