It is up to verse that how much elucidation we can have of it. Look u need to work in order. First focus on its main idea, then go for some specific words inside it. Then elucidate it all together. It may make 2-3 pages and it depends upon ur handwriting as well.

NA JII...........only the TRANSLATION of the LAST 10 SURAS is required.............no elucidation is necessary...........they only ask for the translation in the paper, not for its TASHREE........

@wounded healer

OK dear it was not their in the papers of last one or two years but they were asking for elucidation in the previous papers. U may have a look of the older papers as well. We should be assiduous.

One should study about it s elcucidation as well because it would be helpful in attempting some other queries. Their elcudation is given with them in the PCS/CSS Islamiat books.

@ i m possible,
well i totally agree with u but according to the syllabus of CSS2006 and CSS2007, only the translations are given and one should always go with the syllabus...............i agree that we should all study the QURANIC suras with their elucidation but now is not the time cause the exams are very near..............
the syallabus has changed in the last couple of years and now only the translations are required.............HATS OFF to anyone who also studies their elucidation but in my opinion they are not necessary from the PAPER'S point of view...........

so should i stick to only translation or not???
well i have prepared last 10 sura with translation as well as elucidation but i was asking about examination point of view..........does it any harm if i expalin too in papers????
i need help coz im still confused.: unsure:

In my opine, we need to pay attention to translation section as well. Good luck

@ amy

according to the syllabus, only the translations are required, so prepare them thoroughly............and if they do not ask for elucidation then dont give them cause the examiners may deduct ur marks................from the paper's point of view, only the translations are required

best of luck
