Hello All,

Can somebody please guide me about the answer length of a 16 marks question of islamiat paper ? it should be of around how many words or how many pages ?

500 to 700 words are more than enough, however one can write as many words/pages as he wants there is no any compulsion.

One which you can write in 25 minutes

As Waqas said - the written stuff you can produce in 25 minutes. There is no compulsion on length and I dont think length is even the criterion.

Its all about doing justice with the question asked.

@Waqas - bro can you share your DMS please? How is your Physics prep ?

Will some one from the past experience tell us that how much quranic ayats are needed to quote in the answer sheet for a single question ?
As it is mine 1st attempt in CSS ?

You can check it by writing yourself an answer to a question in a time of nearly 20 to 25 minutes . Some answers can be given in 3,4 pages . On the other sides the answers of some of the questions consume 2 pages etc . It depends on the size of your writing too .

I too second Waqas that one which you can sum up in 25 minutes. As all questions carry equal marks so consume same time on each question. Though try to conclude each question in the given time producing quality material as quantity doesn't matter in most of the cases.

Do mention them as much as you can considering time, length and aspects of a question asked. For instance,

Describe the importance and philosophy of Fasting (SAUM). Also explain its individual and collective benefits?

First of all read the question carefully and try to comprehend all the aspects asked. In the above question

1. What is Saum
2. Philosophy of Saum
3. Benefits of Saum

Now elaborate above said aspects and enrich your answer with the most relevant Aayats and Hadiths (at least 1-2 Ayats or Hadiths for each main head i.e. Saum, Philosphy of Saum and Benefits of Saum). Also highlight or underline them with marker/pencil. Moreover, you may also add scholarly views (mentioning their names if you remember). Lastly, keep analyzing everything till conclusion.
