Pak Affairs seem to be more CA
It seems that FPSC has eliminated the most of the portion of the Pakistan Affair and has limited the history part. Surprisingly, the syllabus more enlightens about the current affair.
Discussion will be appreciated. |

Yes, I'm really finding it easier.
Plus islamiat seems easier too Sent from my T757 using Tapatalk |
Yes it helps. If we go smartly making IR as a aid to understand topics of CA and PA.

Can you name me a best book fo IR and PA??

I am following these books for IR
1. Understanding IR it's recommended one 2. Introduction to IR Power and justice by Couloumbis and Wolf These books cover most of topics in Paper 1. You have to search internet for paper 2. For PA there is not a single book to cover whole syllabus. I have some material in soft copy and will share if anyone needs it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I think this time PA book by M. Ikram Rabbani is of no value that much, isn't it ??

It's worthless this time. But I noticed a strange thing in revised syllabus, they recommend the JWT magazine and book by Shamshad Sb. I think we should go for Shamshad's book. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
FPSC is actually trying to shape coming CSPs into Researchers and Analysts !!! :0:0:0 During preparation now we have to analyse things by ourselves, we have to think in every corner of each topic...:thinking:thinking
|
Yes true. Making our opinion needs a great amount of reading.

So many questions from past papers of the subject are there which can be asked in CE 16 bcz first 2 portions and No. 5.6.10.12.15.22. and 23 are related to history. In my opinion except a few additional topics previous sullybus is narrated into bullets. |
Rote learning has been discouraged this time.

Yes you are right. Each and every topic has its own history, we can not skip as it looks. But now emphasize has been shifted towards contemporary issues so it is not very easy to grasp everything in one hand. |

I know , knowledge of history is necessary, if one doesn't even know the names of all the generals and their action, how are they going to analyze civil military relations. That's why I have already opted history of indopak :) |

Ruined or made , we have to remember. Nations learn from history.
But I opted it because I LOVED it. you think there's no interdependency (which doesn't seem like a real word) BUT Others think there IS a link. learn to accept that human beings are capable of having a difference of opinion. |
Shamshad sb book is also covering History of Pakistan and India..
I am confused in my last optional. Either it be USA History or History of Pakistan India or Gender Studies. what do you guys suggest ?
Best is to go for US His. Scoring one. Indo Pak is not one. Gender studies is a new subject in css, you have no important topics suggestion and past papers. Instead of acting 'smart' leave this to others and next time analyze this subject in css perspective. regards :ninja: |

bro it is fake news. JWT is not usually recommended by csp's. dont follow interviews where csp suggest to read it. we dont know had he said that. |
