Interesting books on pakistan afffairs

Hello. I am thinking of appearing in CSS but most probably I will appear in 2018 or maybe even 2019 attempt. So I have a lot of time for preparation. Can anyone please recommend me an interesting book for Pakistan affairs that will help me build a strong base for the subject. I dont want to read the usual textbooks at this point because they are usually very dry and boring. Can anyone please recommend such a book?

Hey,

Do Read:
Frontline Pakistan by Zahid Hussain,
Taliban by Ahmed Rashid,
Descent into chaos by Ahmed Rashid,
Afghanistan and Pakistan by Riaz Muhammad Khan,
Neither a hawk nor a dove by Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri,
Kashmir in conflict by Victoria Schofield and
Nuclear Pakistan Strategic dimensions by Zulfqar Khan et al.

There are many more books out there worth reading, this is like a preliminary list that I think must be read.

You have to consider some of these.
