Default Pakistan; A hard country

Hi All
I have heard a lot about the book I have mentioned above. Is this book a good choice for the compulsory paper of Pakistan Affairs?

Pakistan a hard country doesn't cover the topics of Pakistan Affairs' syllabus as mentioned by FPSC. But this is recommended for critical analysis and developing a good understanding of the issues with Pakistani system. You don't need to read this book thoroughly; just go through its summary on internet and try to grasp what Antonio Lieven has pointed out and the main points on which his analysis is based.
