I think one book is enough on pre partition. (KK or Trek)

Why not replacing Ikram with Dr Liaquat Niazi? I think Ikram writes irrelevantly lengthy.

Maleeha lodhi and KK...go for gold, both are good to go.

A Brief History Of Pakistan 'James Wynbradt'

Tip: Don't go for "extra" things.

May be, I don't know. But it's very much recommended for Pak Affairs.

It is recommended in Political Science as well as Constitutional Law. But it will not cover the syllabus like the Ikram Rabbani's book.
It is difficult in language and doesn't really explain historical narratives. I have both but I used Hamid khan's book for the constitutional history part only.
