Does old books serve the cause??
Hello everyone. Today i came across a couple of good books; “Pakistan and Geostrategic Environment” by Hassan Askari and “Pakistan: Fifty Years of Nationhood” by Shahid Javed Burki. The former primarily deals with foreign policy and the latter examines Pakistan’s socio-economic conditions in the wake of political tug of war during 90s. These books are kinda old; one was published in ‘93 where as the other in ‘99. My question is should these books be read keeping in mind the drastic changes that emerged in the aftermath of 9/11 as well as the change in World politics from unipolar to bipolar??
