@amal, I believe it would be an additional advantage while preparing Pakistan Affairs. Though Pakistan Affairs mainly involve the Post Independence and After Indepence scenario, that is wy ecnomics must not be the major area or essential area. Apart from this in Pakistan Affairs hardly one or two questions are put by the examiner, related to current affairs and one of them can be that of ecnomics but hardly it happens. If you get yourself a sound grip on this subject than i dont think that it is essential requirement for preparing Pakistan Affairs.

Regards.

i agree with sir Mohammad Ali that if u study the economic issues and their solutions u wl really be having the upper edge.itz not necessary that we shud discuss economic issues only when there is a question from economics point of view.we may also discuss it while answering the other questions related to governance issues as well.
so i wud suggest u that if u hv time, u must study the economic issues that Pakistan has been undergoing.and their solutions as well.

Thanx.
ALLAH BLESS U.

For a CSS candidate Pakistan Economy is very important as it can help him in Current Affairs, Pakistan Affairs, Essay Paper, IR paper and even in Interview because most of the questions asked in Interview relates with Pakistan Economics.
