Dear All,

As i have observed first question is all the previous papers is dedicated to Muslim Saints or reformist movements.. i am preparing Pakistan Affairs from Khalid bin Sayeed's book and I.H. Qureshi's book.

Are these two books sufficient to provide me with the relevant material for the above stated topic?

Secondly, and if somebody wants to skip this portion, what would u suggest?

Thirdly, how many total movements or important personalities are related to these movements, which could be asked in this portion?

Qureshi's book alone should be sufficient. Stick to one book, because the other book would have the same info in slightly different expressions. Try making as many headings as you can. Do not skip this portion, even dates are not important. Just keep in mind a few bullet points about the key elements of the personality you're studying, i.e. in case of Hazrat Mujaddad Alif Sani, just keep in mind (Revivor of Islam, raised standard of islam against akbar's transgressions, did noble efforts to revert to islam's true soul, cleared the misconceptions created by wahdatul wajood concept, gave theological impetus to the ideology of pakistan in the sense that he drew clear distinctions between muslims and hindus and stated that muslims had a separate identity - islam).

The personalities who are mostly asked about are basically those who can be considered as contributors to pakistans ideology, i.e. those who struggled to give and strengthen the muslim national spirit within the muslims of subcontinent. Hazrat Mujaddad Alif Sani and his efforts for islamic reform, Shah Waliullah and his efforts to reconcile between sufis and clerics, his translation of quran and economic reforms, Syed Ahmed Shaheed and his mujahideen movement, his religious and political reforms. In addition, do review haji shariatullah and titu mir and the bengal peasant revolt.

Note: All of these personalities came before 1857. More important ones after the sepoy rebellion include and are mostly limited to sir syed, iqbal, jinnah and their different attributes and services.
