Tariq Saghir is a big Conspiracy Theorist. He has even defeated a rabble-rouser demagogue like Zaid Hamid. I hate this word, "Sazish". In the past 63-year, we were big "Sazishy" against ourselves. Hatred of the Jew, the Hindu, the Christian, the Black, the Poor, have rendered us incapable to diagnose our own cancer that devours our souls. Blaming RAW, CIA, MOSSAD, Blackwater for every ill in Pakistan reflects our defeatist mentality. We should stop camouflaging our inefficiencies by passing the bucks elsewhere. Let us confess that we are responsible for the mess we are are caught in.

Unhappy

Dollars and Aid is more important for this Govt (including punjab and other parties who are part of govt).They can do whatever is impossible but for Dollars.They are silent on Drone attacks as they are paid for it.
They are abolishing HEC as they want to fill their pockets.
Raw,Mossad,black water,CIA are the agencies from outside which are destroying pakistan but have we ever think what we have done to our country for our own interests.
It is in vain to blame Raw,Mossad,CIA,black water when we ouselves are not sincere to our country.

I have read a lot Tariq Ismail Saaghir. His writings are baed on jingoism. For patriotism's purposes his writings are good. For CSS you may need pertinent and most focused material based on facts and figures rather conspiracy theories. When you more believe in consipiracy then less you believe in facts.

Finally, sanity prevails in this thread. Ali, you spot on! Such jingoistic and supremacist conspiracy theories are only helpful in ISI's exams; there is nothing wrong to have self-criticism. Remember, "Holier-than-Thou" or "Us-against-Them" attitude will be devastating in papers. I assure you guyz that your papers are not examined in GHQ; so feel free to have independent views instead of being a mouthpiece of supremacist narratives of Army, ISI, Ansar Abbasi, Hamid Mir, Tariq Saghir and his likes. Your sharp critical analysis based upon linear narrative facts will yield much dividends for you in your exams.

Dear friends i read the above book which, in my opinion, is full of important information. 2ndly, conspiracy theories are very essential for CSS and a css-aspirant must have a thorough knowledge of it because it is one of the hot issue of the contemporary world . There is a chance to come a question or two from the underdiscussion (conspiracy theory) topic in CA, IR, and pak affair papers of CSS. 3rdly it will be a bit imprudent decision to overlook a book or an author's work because of his/her personal possessions or whateverelse you name it. 4thly all the intelligence organizations you have mentioned above have their vicious role in the internal security probs of pakistan and Noam Chomsky and several other local as well as foreign well-known authors have provided a crystal clear proofs in their books and articles including Hassan Askari, Dr.Ayesha Siddiqa, Sheren Mazari . So do you think all of them are wrong ? and should we not study their work too?
At the end i would like to thanx the above lady for sharing such an important book. Keep it up madam and wish you all the members a very goodluck.

Billa Sahib, also listen to the "lovely" speeches of Hazrat Zaid Hamid (rh), and then quote it in your papers in verbatim, I'm sure you will excel. *sarcastic*

If you think this book is informative and factual then go with it, its all depend upon personal preferences. You mentioned other authors, they are all of great intellect and repute. Tariq Ismail Saaghir isn't fall among them. He is famious for its patriotic and military writings and it is believed that he is supported by the military establishment to promote their agenda. I already wrote in my previous post that I have read him a lot, his writings are good to arouse patriotism and jingoism, if the information written by him are verifiable then its good and nothing wrong with him.

@Billa...........
Bro i agree with you but one thing i would like to share is that with the emergence of Great Game many conspiracy theorist surfaced who either in one way or the other supported & promoted their own agenda and are still trying the same...... So these days it has really become very difficult to draw a clear line of distinction between them and the true & authentic writers............ So wht the above forum members wana convey is that their study material should be read with a pinch of salt......

@Ali Ahmad Syed..........
I think Mr. Billa's point is worth noting as well.....he actually wana say that nobody's work is useless and sumthng can be learnd from each and every person .........even Allama Iqbal mentions the same point (Har fard hai millat k muqaddar ka sitara)..........So i thnk we can collect points from theze books and articles.....

@Sheeraz S........
Bro one of my friend, who is a PMS officer, got 169 marks in islamic history paper ((css2009)) and he told me that it was only because of Zaid Hamid's audio lectures(of is-history) which enabled him to score such a good marks...
Secondly, Bro i think we should expostulate with the members about their point of view rather than fulminating against them.......sorry to say but these sort of remarks lacerate membs feelings.....i think our tone should be soft in impugning one anothers points........mordant critics are welcomed nowhere..........
"Both optimists and pessimists contribute to our society. The optimist invent the aeroplanes and the pessimists the parachutes. (Gill Stem)".. ... ........

I hope you guys will not mind my opinion.......do remember me in your special prayers....thanx......
